The French Resource Center was created by the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the United States and Rutgers University in the context of a cooperative agreement between the New Jersey Department of Education and the French Government. Our mission is to promote educational and cultural relationships, encourage use of the best pedagogical practices and disseminate innovative curricular models and material at all levels in the State.

New Jersey and New York educators may borrow our pedagogical resources by contacting one of our local correspondents. Please register online and send your deposits before applying for material (deposit checks will be returned after material has been returned in good condition and on the due date). Once you have received a confirmation message indicating what is available in your area, contact the correspondent nearest to you: she / he will tell you when and where to pick up and return the material.
